Hope Nabarrette
I enjoy Flex 24 because the facility is clean, multiple types of classes offered, good equipment and friendly members.
Victoria Ruiz
I love Flex 24 primarily for the 24 hour access. Secondly, the size of the gym is perfect for me, not too big or too small. Third, the staff and on-site smoothie bar are great!
Yenis Fernandez
It's open 24 hours, conveniently located, delicious smoothies, good aesthetic, plenty of rooms and lockers. High quality, diverse groups of classes, a lot of equipment and they are in good condition, people and staff are nice to one another like a friendly community. I love working out at Flex24.

When you join, you pay for your key activation and programming for your account. You are not charged for your key itself. The key is $43.29 and is only owed if the key is not returned at the end of the membership or is lost. If a member loses their key, they will be required to purchase an additional key at the member’s expense. All prices listed above are pre-tax and subject to change.
When a member would like to cancel their account, they are requested to email Support@flex24fitness.com. Our General Manager is in charge of our cancellations. We require cancellation to be completed over email to ensure both parties are accountable to what is requested of them, and provides written documentation of the process. This is for the protection of the member so they are aware of the time frame and process in which to cancel their account, as well as to keep Flex 24 accountable to provide the necessary information requested. This protects the integrity of Flex 24 and the member we are communicating with.
First, please email Support@flex24fitness.com and they will reply to your email. If you have not completed your contract, you have the option to transfer your membership to a new member by paying a $75 transfer fee. In this case, the member who is canceling will pay the $75 fee and their last month, and the new member will pay their first month. The previous member is required to return their key, which will be used by the new member. All transfers are completed by appointment only. If you cannot find someone to transfer your membership to, then you will be required to pay out the contract. You can either pay the contractual balance which is the remaining months owed on your contract, or the cancellation fee. The cancellation fee for University single access only members is $250.00 plus tax for each full or partial year remaining. The cancellation fee for 42nd dual access members is $350.00 for each full or partial year remaining. Our Support Team will assist you with exact totals and more detailed information via email. Cancellations will only be completed by signing the cancellation form; never by verbal consent. All prices listed above are pre-tax and subject to change.
If a member is moving and they have not fulfilled the membership agreement they signed up for, then they are eligible to cancel under our moving policy. In order to be eligible to cancel under the moving policy, you must move at least 30 miles away from any Flex 24 location and out of the Odessa/ Midland area. You will be required to email or mail Flex 24 a copy of your utility bill with your name and new address as proof of relocation. Once we receive a copy of your bill you will pay your prorated dues owed, your last month, and sign a cancellation form to close your account. Since the member has not completed their initial membership agreement, they will be responsible for paying the prorated difference for the closest term they have completed. The member will rewrite their membership to the closest term of a 1,2 or 3 year agreement and pay the difference for those fulfilled months. All cancellations must be completed through email by emailing Support@flex24fitness.com.
The June Enhancement is an annual fee on the 1st of every June at the rate of $40.00 for University access members and $60.00 for 42nd access members. This annual charge allows us to add new types of equipment requested from members, or additional/replacement pieces based on heavy traffic during peak periods. It offers our members the newest top-of-the-line equipment each year, as well as updates on the current equipment we have. All our equipment is well maintained throughout the year and replaced as needed. This additional fee allows us to go above and beyond just maintaining a nice facility. It allows us to keep your workout ever-changing and growing to offer our members the best! Members are made aware of this charge upon joining in the first few sentences of their contract terms and conditions. We send out an email yearly as well to remind our members of the annual charge before it drafts out.

Minors 15-17 can attend the gym without a parent or guardian present after they are signed up and will receive their own key fob. Minors can be added or removed from the primary’s account at any time. Primary members will be required to be present when a minor is added to the account to sign. Members can add on their legal spouse to their account but the primary member is required to renew their membership upon doing so. Proof of marriage can be requested upon combining the accounts. Both individuals will need to be present upon signing.

Yes, we do allow members to freeze their membership up to 3 months per year for only $10 per month instead of your regular monthly draft amount. We offer this for members who have lost their job or will not be able to use their membership for a short period of time. While your account is frozen, your key will be deactivated and you will not be able to use the facilities. Once your freeze is complete, your key will be reinstated and you will be able to resume your contract where you left off. Members are required to reach out to Support@flex24fitness.com at least 5 days prior to their draft date to complete the freeze process. All prices listed above are pre-tax and subject to change.
Additional services include childcare, minors, and/ or a month-to-month locker. Childcare is an additional $10 per month and a locker is $15 per month. Minor pricing is listed above in the “What membership terms are offered at Flex 24 and how much?” section. These services can be added or removed by signing a form at the front desk. Childcare services will be set up in person at the Flex Kids zone, where you will receive a Flex Kids key that will require a picture and will be scanned at each visit to check-in your children. Minors will receive keys as well that will require a picture and will be scanned at each visit to access the facility. To rent a locker, you will need to pull the tab off the locker of your choice in the locker room. You will take this tab to the front desk where it will be assigned to your account. Your own personal lock is required. All services will continue drafting on your account until the member has signed to remove services. Members will need to come in and sign to remove services at least 3 days prior to their draft date in order to not be billed the following month. All prices above are pre-tax and subject to change.
Yes, you are subject to return fees. Members are not charged late fees when payment is not received on time. All monthly payments are due on the 3rd or the 17th of each month, as noted in the contract. If automatic electronic payment or draft is returned or not paid for any reason, a non-refundable $15.00 bank charge will be charged to the member and electronic payment will be re-submitted if payment and/or fee is not collected. Any payments canceled or refused by the member are subject to a $20 chargeback fee in addition to the original payment.
You can update your payment method in person at either of our Odessa locations, over the phone at 1-886-CLUB-FLEX, or online at Flex24Fitness.com using the member portal. Members are required to update their method of payment at least 5 days prior to their next scheduled draft. If payment is not updated before this time frame, the member is at risk of draft processing through the existing method of payment on file. If declined, the member is subject to all return fees added to their balance.
Our drafts are set up on the 3rd or 17th of each month. Members are required to set up a method of payment upon joining and must maintain an active method of payment throughout their membership. Members can either place a card on file or provide their bank account information to draft from. If members request to pay with cash or in advance, they must provide full payment no later than 5 days prior to their next draft. At all times, an active method of payment is required on the account. The only exception to having a method of payment on file is for paid in full members who will not be charging to their account.

Members who would like to renew their membership are eligible for renewal discounts or promotions. Please see the front desk for more information.

FLEX 24 Family,
Time to master gym etiquette.
Sweating on the machines without cleaning up and dropping weights are only two of the many things you need to know when it comes to gym etiquette.
FLEX ETIQUETTE
You’ve become a member of FLEX 24; you definitely know what you’re doing when it comes to techniques and routine or at least recognize that FLEX 24 is by far the best gym Odessa, TX has to offer. However, there’s much more to a gym membership than paying your dues and showing up every week. What about gym etiquette? Are you familiar with it? Read up on the following tips and see how you rate.
HANDLING EQUIPMENT
The main reason we go to the gym is to use the superior equipment you won’t find at Academy or on Amazon. While exercises can be performed at home, it’s often easier to rely on machines that were specifically designed for the sole purpose of training a certain group of muscles. Are you using all the equipment properly?
Return the weights when you use dumbbells or plates. Be considerate and put them back where they belong when you’re done.
Don’t hog machines. A gym being a community of sorts, sharing is mandatory. Do your sets the way you have them planned, training efficiently. Rest, repeat, and move on. Should you be doing supersets, notify the others and let them use the machine while you’re busy elsewhere.
Wipe the machines. If you happen to drip all over a piece of equipment, wipe it down using the disinfectant provided by FLEX. Also, use a towel to separate yourself from the machine while you're using it.
Limit yourself. While working out on cardiovascular equipment, people are expected to spend 20 to 30 minutes on a machine. Try not to exceed that time limit and let other users benefit from the equipment. If no one is waiting for your spot, feel free to keep going.
Don’t drop the weights. While FLEX is not a library, respect the equipment. When the weights cost two-plus dollars a pound you need to realize that this equipment is a significant investment. Don’t drop weights for any reason. Pick up weight you can handle or use a spotter.
HOW TO SOCIALIZE IN FLEX 24
Once you know how to handle the equipment, you need to hone your social skills. There are things you must and must not do to be regarded as a member the others will enjoy sharing the gym with.
Don’t pressure users. One thing you don’t want to do is constantly ask people if they’ve finished using a machine when they’re still exercising on it. Wait for them to stop before asking. Don’t tap your foot impatiently while waiting, or use other negative body language. If you feel someone is not respecting the rules, please speak with the front desk.
Spot those who need it, only when they need it. If you see someone who is in dire need of a spot, risking injury without one, only then should you offer your services. When you do spot someone, make sure you’re not the one doing all the lifting and that you can handle the weight. The latter is especially important since, if you’re not strong enough, your spot will be useless and dangerous for the weightlifter.
Don’t offer unsolicited advice to others. The advice you give should be limited to when you notice someone who’s going to hurt himself. If you feel you must critique someone’s training method for their safety, do so in a constructive manner, being polite and acknowledging what they’re doing right first.
Keep socializing polite and to the point. Conversations should be kept brief and limited to resting periods in between sets. These short discussions must be held out of the way so people can train without interruption. Don’t initiate conversations with people wearing headphones. Finally, while you’re taking a break, don’t sit on a machine — others may want to use it.
Be respectful of other members' personal space and do not objectify or flirt. They became members to get fit, not to be hit on or leered at. Inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
GYM BEHAVIOR
Common Courtesy
When you have the essentials down, you need to exercise the universal civility you would apply in any other situation.
No cell phones. As with all public places, unless you’re waiting for an important call, it’s recommended that you silence your mobile device at FLEX. As well, bringing your phone into the locker room and using it will make other members feel uncomfortable.
Pick up after yourself. Leave your training space as clean as you found it. Don’t leave any food wrappers, water bottles, towels, or any other items behind. Keep your locker clean, orderly, and don’t leave anything lying around for the next person.
Don’t grunt or yell loudly while exercising. Of course, it’s natural to make some noise when doing strenuous lifts, but remember that the others around you are concentrating on their own workout and don’t want to be distracted.
Make hygiene a priority. Exercising makes you sweat and perspiration causes body odor. Do your best to not offend other members with body odor or excessive cologne/perfume.
Be considerate of the water fountain. Do not spit or throw away your gum in the fountain. If there are people waiting for the water fountain, don’t be disrespectful of others by filling a large water bottle.
No foul language. As with any other social venue, be respectful of your surroundings and of the fact that people of all ages might be present on the premises. Don’t use foul language or insult people who are less proficient in their training.
Don’t walk in front of mirrors if it interferes with another member trying to get their stance right. By the same token, if you’re looking at yourself in a mirror from across the room, be patient if someone passes in front of you. If you must use a mirror, it’s better to stand close to it so that your actions are unambiguous to the rest of the members.
Work out, muscle man or fit lady! When you get right down to it, FLEX is a small community of like-minded individuals. Mastering proper gym etiquette can be helpful in your relationship with others. Once everybody knows the rules, it’s much more fun to work out, as there’s no reason to be uncomfortable.
